Sannadi Chakra Simplified

Sannadi Chakra

Sannadi Chakra is a combination of 6 Nakshatra, which plays a major role in different parts of human life. Moons transit Nakshatra at time of birth is taken as the first Nakshatra of Sannadi Chakra.

Janam Nadi : Janam Nakshatra ( Moons Transit Nakshatra )
Karma Nadi : 10th Nakshatra from Janam Nakshatra
Sanghatik Nadi : 16th Nakshatra from Janam Nakshatra
Samudaye Nadi : 18th Nakshatra from Janam Nakshatra
Vinash Nadi : 23rd Nakshatra from Janam Nakshatra

Five Elements of Panchang

PANCHANG CALCULATION

Panchang is composition of 5 parts

1)    Tithi
2)    Vaara ( Day )
3)    Nakshatra
4)    Yog
5)    Karan

Tithi ( Lunar Day )

Tithi is calculated by each 120  Angular difference between The Sun and The Moon Position. When Sun and Moon are at exact Same degree ( 00 )  Shukla Paksha’s Pratipada Begins from there, at 120  Pratipada ends and a new tithi begins, When The Sun and The Moon are at exact opposite degree ( 1800 ) Shukla Paksha end and Krishna Paksha Pratipada begins There are 30 Tithis, 15 in Shukla Paksha and 15 in Krishna Paksha

Formula
Tithi = Moon Degree – Sun Degree / 120

Example
Sun Degree =  1100 10’
Moon Degree = 3200 20’
Tithi = 3200 20’ - 1100 10’ /120
= 2100 10’/120
=(210 x 60)’ + 10’ /( 12 x 60 )’
=12600’ + 10’/720’
=12610’/720’
=17+
17+, Will take next Tithi, That is 18th Tithi Krishna Paksha Tritiya

Nakshatra

Example
Moon Position 8s 190 55’
1s = 300
10 = 60’
1 Nakshatra = 800’
8s 190 55’
=( 8 x 30 )0 + 190 55’
= 2400 + 190 55’
=2590 55’
=( 259 x 60 )’ + 55’
= 15540’ + 55’
= 15595’
15595 / 800 = 19+

Answer is 19+ then we will take next Nakshatra that is 20th Nakshatra
20th Nakshatra = Purba Ashadha

Yog

Angular Positional Relationship of The Sun and The Moon Creates Yog. There are 27 Types of Yog

Formula to get yog
Yog = Moon degree + Sun Degree / 800’

Example
Sun Degree =  1100 10’
Moon Degree = 3200 20’
Then   1100 10’ + 3200 20’
= 4300 30’
If Answer is more than 3600 then subtract  3600
4300 30’ - 3600 = 700 30’
Now 700 30’ / 800
= ( 70 x 60 )’ + 30’ / 800
=4200 +30 / 800
= 4230 / 800
= 5+
5 + meaning we have to take 6 yog
Answer = 6th Yog = Atiganda Yog

Half of a Tithi is Known as Karan , we divide that particular tithi in two part 60 each, See above Tithi Section.
From above Tithi example we have got Krishna Paksha Tritiya
Krishna Paksha Tritiya : First Half of Tithi is Vanija & Second Half of Tithi is vishti

There are total 11 Karan, divided in 2 Types

1)    Char Karan : Bava, Balava, Kaulav, Taitila, Gara, Vanija, Vishti
