Formula

Last two digit of Year + ¼ of Last two digit of year ( reminder negligible )  + Century Number + Month Number + date / 7
Reminder is taken as answer
Suppose date is
02/04/2016
Then
16+4+6+0+2/7
= 28/7 = 0
0 denotes Saturday as mentioned above
Then 02/04/2016 is a Saturday

Indian Standard Time to Local mean time Conversions

Indian Standard time is calculated by the longitude drawn above Allahabad
Allahabad longitude = 81052’ E
If Some native is born at Darjeeling 10:00 am IST
We will find out Darjeeling Local mean time
Darjeeling Longitude = 88016’ E
Longitudinal difference between Allahabad and Darjeeling
88016’ E - 81052’ E = 60 24’
10 = 4 minute
Then 60 24’ =  ( 6 x 4 ) + (4/60 x 24 ) Minute
= 24 + 1.6
= 25.6 minute
Local time of birth of the native for Darjeeling
10: 00 am + 25.6 minute
